Over 4 weeks away and already the largest viper regatta in texas history - thanks to the influx of boats to Houston.   Could possibly be up to 15 boats entered pretty soon - all from Texas.

14 vipers registered right now, another three on their way shortly.   17 seems like the magic number, but could be a straggler in the mix.

It's official - the Texas Viper 640 Class is adopting the GBCA BBVA Compass Regatta in Galveston Bay as a circuit stop on their 2011 schedule. Due to a lack of H20 at Lake Travis, the Bank Regatta will replace the Govenor's Cup on the schedule. This is great news!! Viper sailors - leave your boats at HYC (mast up) after the one-design regatta on 9/18 and 9/19 and come back in 2 weeks for the circuit stop. GBCA is excited to have you!!!  (oh, and I promise that the party will definintely meet Viper standards)
