Home. Exhausted and happy.

I'll second Brad's comment. Best regatta yet.

well done to the Rondar boys for getting boats on the water.
the RC did a good job with start line length and calling boats over.
last race was a bit much for me but the best team won.

shout out to Brad & co for all top 10 scores, always great blokes
on & off the water.

in that last race, half way up the first work, Brad had both trophies,
Piet was about 10 and we were 15th.
top mark
Piet had NAs, & brad had EFG.
last top mark we were 2 boats away from the EFG win.

at the finish we just snuck in.

I think thats cool to have the EFG series to come down to the final
leg after a full season!

same thing happened in Sarnia

A huge thanks to Daan Goedkoop and his stellar Marblehead team both on and off the water, EFG, Rondar and the long list of sponsors for a great event.
Pat, the bar has been set for next year in Houston.
Epic rides on Saturday in those ocean storm rollers and big breeze.
Viper #208 - Noank, CT

Best regatta I have ever been to.  Everything was fantastic.  Thanks Daan, Dan, RC,  and all that made it happen.  Glad I own a Viper for sure.  We had a blast.

That final downhill in the final race, while not one of the highlights of the regatta's sailing experiences, was exciting light air close racing.  They don't call Chappers the "Closer" for nothing.

A pack of eight boats rounded the windward mark and immediately gybed with Furry Lance in the pack.  Then the downhill was all about trying to catch every puff, sailing high for some, low for others and gybing only when you could catch a ride across on a puff and avoid getting jumped . Somehow Furry Lance emerged at the final gybe at the finish. The EFG Pan Ams was won five boat lengths from the finish. Half way down that final leg, they were in 3rd for the Pan Ams.

Well done the lancers and we'll see you again in Miami.
