Sorry to hear about the monkey.

Thanks to the Lynn's, Jones, Drake, and the whole Texas fleet for the incredible hospitality. They have an awesome group of viper people in Texas and Houston is a perfect venue for the one and only viper 640. Hope we get to come back soon.

All three boats that were blown off their trailers are OK.  None were strapped down - only had bow lines - so let that be a lesson to everyone.  Of the three boats - 115 has a scrape or two and nothing critical, 101 has a couple holes and scrapes, but is being repaired as we speak and 107 has a broken mast and a few minor fiberglass repairs.  All should be ready to race in our next circuit regatta on 10/1 - 10/2.

It is interesting how the boats fell off the trailers, but did not damage the keels, keel trunks or hulls.  Most of the stress was on the exterior edge of the deck which is surprisingly strong.

The Texas Fleet is ready to roll!

P.S. Strap down your boats to the trailer and you are much better off.

Watching the news report it looked like there had to be major damage to the keel/keelbox. Very fortunate.

So glad all the boats are okay and will be ready to race in the Bank Regatta!  For all of you not sailing at Sarnia, we already have 8 boats signed up for 10/1 and 10/2 in Houston.  Come play.

Here's a link to all things Bank Regatta.

Great to hear that all boats are ok! Lynn and I (along with Eric and Amanda Vance) will be at BBVA this weekend! So one of us will be available to help while three race.

Lynne, does the one who is not racing want to help with Race Committee on Saturday?  Can you email me if you're interested?  jody0221 at yahoo dot com
