YRALIS CHAMPS: August 2-3 at Indian Harbor. Both days count toward the LYC season and toward the WLIS Circuit. http://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=1120 -- 10 Vipers already signed up, and we're expecting 15+ to sign up eventually now that we're past the July crunch. As always, there will be the option to tow over to Indian Harbor by water from Larchmont as we have done in past years (starting line is off of Rye Beach), or you can trailer over and launch from IHYC if you'd rather do that. Don't be faked out by the word "champs" in the regatta title -- you do not need to qualify to attend -- it's just that the overall senior one design winner (which could be a Viper -- I believe Blackout Proposal won it last year) will win the YRALIS Perpetual Trophy for the Men's Championship. The races tend to be short (I've never seen them have legs of more than 0.75 nm at this one) and we end up getting in a lot of races as a result. Even if you can only do one day, you should sign up and plan to be there.
Now up to 14 entries.
