For a variety of reasons, we did not show up in force.  Here is Kevin Taugher's post race report:

Just two teams showed up. 38 (Taugher, Tripp, Pentecost) and Last Call (Steele, Helias, ?).  We had a couple good races in 22 to 25 (with some higher gusts) knots down at the middle breakwall on the inside.  Flat water, big puffs, great runs and pretty easy beats.  We hit 15.5 knots downwind a few times.   Too bad more teams couldn't make it.  Don Zinn at CBYC would like to invite us back and hopefully we can have a good showing next year.  CBYC puts on a nice simple event with registration at the dock and hot dogs and rum and cokes after racing.  Hopefully we can keep this on the schedule going forward.   The 505s were there again this year with about 10 boats.

It was good to get out there in challenging conditions and work on sailing in conditions we aren't too used to. We completed 1.5 races before breakdowns started to occur.  In the second race at the leeward mark Alex lost the jib tack. While waiting for them our jib halyard somehow broke at the top mast sheave and we had to raise the jib on the spinnaker halyard and head for the barn.  Alex and team had planned on running to Newport and hopefully they had a good ride home. Needless to say both teams aren't racing tomorrow.
