The Nepean One Design Regatta registration page is now open.
For those that don't know, this regatta is hosted in Canada's Capital Region of Ottawa. We sail out of Nepean Sail Club (One of my favourite clubs). Nepean has 2 ramps and 2 hoists and a great club house that serves Beau's Beer, a fantastic local brewery.
Last year we had 7 boats on the start line, and we expect more this year. For you east coast Vipers this would be a great place to go yachting for the weekend. I think there is also boat storage in Kingston if you want to leave your boat there and sail the Kingston Regatta in July 9-10.
Anyway, the Kingston regatta is an inexpensive event ($140+tax) and includes a shirt and a dinner for you and crew.

Already 4 boats have registered. None of which are one of the FOUR Ottawa based boats. Who else is in?!?!?!?
(I've heard from Vermont and NY boats who are planning on making the trip)
Update 10 boats registered for Nepean One Design.
We have 11 Viper's registered for the Nepean One Design regatta, our second Great Lakes event this summer.
It's not to late to register!! We have room for many more...a great event, fantastic club...come share some beers with us on the Ottawa River and enjoy the competition - should be a good one.
