Mike Deyett and Lake Sunapee YC are hosting a Viper regatta in mid June.  In future years, this will become a fall event to help those who are still pining for a return to Lake Champlain - this will be a shorter drive, still with foliage (in future years), fresh water (always, at least as long as humans walk the earth), and allegedly as good hospitality as we had in Vermont.  Sign up today: https://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=16536

Peter,

Thank you for posting this event.  Lake Sunapee has been known for its exclusive Star events.   It's been a long time since the club hosted a non-star event. Some have worried about cool lake temps.  By mid-June lake inversion has happened, sending the cooler water deep and the surface temp warms up.  Boats can stay in our pull out.  We have two lifts to move boats out of the water.

Let me know if I can answer other questions.

Mike
