Demo Days at Long Beach Yacht Club, Mississippi  June 27&28...

Another successful Viper Demo Days.  LBYC welcomed the Gulf Performance Sailing group for the Gulf Yachting Association 420 Youth Championship. Lot of smiles from all the LBYC members and volunteers.  LBYC is a neat little club tucked away on the coast of the Mississippi Sound.  A popular swimming pool and a club overlooking the sound (mind you the club is 100% paid for) and a neat little bar for Deborah to end the day.

Day One had us sailing the Rondar demo Viper in winds around 20 knots, taking folks out for rides, popping the chute and gybing with ease.  GPS had one father of a 420 youth out with us for a spin, the father, who stated he was not a sailor, came back with a big grin for his son on the beach.  The younger sailor asked how it was sailing the Viper... "It kicks ass" daddy'o replied.

Coming back in helping the ten 420 teams get brown crown off and replacing broken and "no longer with us parts" from the 420's, found the kids chatting up the Viper.  With pretty much the entire group agreeing that the Viper was a boat for them.

Sunday found lighter winds, and easy test sail, and back on the ramp, to head home.

Thank you to the REAL Long Beach YC for having us over for the weekend.
