Black Sheep is registered. Any word on reserving slips?
I've been working on 2014 slips since the 2013 CRW

The numbers for CRW aren't excatly off the charts this year for the Viper fleet.
What's the general feeling for this event this year? I'd like to pay my registration fee before the end of the month to get the discount, but dont' want to spend all that money and drive that far fourteen boats.
I'm pretty sure we'll have at the very least 20 boats on the line...probably in the 30ish range when all is said and done?
Either way, I'm registered and will be there, it's going to be a blast! After doing this last year, it's definitely a can't miss regatta for me, even after it took 26 hours to get there due to the old trailer blowing up..
Another thing to add...of all the sports boats, we have the most registered. :p
Early entry discount ends on Friday if you want to save $50. Now up to 17 entries, and I'm sure we'll have 30+ when it's all said and done. Charleston is 2014 Viper Atlantic Coast Champs as well. Sign up today.
Anyone care to take a guess who we'll be sharing a circle with?
#83 Purplexed is looking forward to CRW after hearing such great things last year! Still trying to work out transport however. We have delivery to Charleston all sorted but we need someone to bring the boat *back* from Charleston to the NorthEast (Boston ideally).
If you know of anyone interested, please let me know. Someone doing a one-way delivery to Charleston and looking to do a tow on the way back would be ideal.
Any ideas where to store the boat in Charleston in March?
I'm thinking of dropping off the boat in Charleston on my way back from Miami. Hudson still frozen so no much sailing here.
Peter Azalea Storage in Charleston will store boats at no charge. It's first come first served and you make arrangements with them when you drop the boat off. Address is on their website.
Any more info on what the situation is for slips during the event.
We have slips reserved. We need to start taking up collections to confirm who will be in what bays.
Peter and Dan,
Thanks for organizing slips this year--I'm in for one, just let me know how much $ and who to send it to...
FYI all--I'm probably going to launch and retrieve from Hobcaw YC. They were very welcoming to the Viper fleet last year as we pulled a few boats out at their ramp..
The Wild Hogs would like a spot at the dock. Please let me know how, how much and to whom I should send payment. Grateful for the organization of the slips.
Peter,
I'm in for slip space as well for 203. Let me know what the deal is. Also, is any one launching at Remley's Point? Wondering what the situation is like there.
Dave
Using the ramp at Remley to launch isn't an issue. Hauling out, different story! Would recommend using a hoist for that.
#81 would like a space in a slip. Please let me know how much and where to send.
Many Thanks
Great news about slips.
#87 would like to have access to a slip.
