Hey all.

Fort Walton Yacht Club is asking me if there will be Vipers again at the 2012 Billy Bowlegs Regatta.  They Request that 5 boats make a class.  Last year we had three, and we had our own class.

June 9-10 on the beautiful waters of Choctawhatchee Bay, Fort Walton Beach, FL.  Sunny skies, sandy beaches, 11-15 knot sea breeze every day.  Great club that has ramp and hoist launching.

If we can get a commitmment of the five boats to make class, Gulf Pool Service will provide awards for 1st,2nd,3rd place, youngest crew award, and furthest travelled.

Deborah and I have a guest room with a queen bed, and a living room with a couch.  We also have the family 37foot sportfishing boat that a team may be able to crash on.  we might be able to schrounge up a house or two for other teams to stay at, and there is always free camping availiable at the point of the yacht club grounds, and two RV spots availaible.

The Billy Bowlegs season is a pirate event lasting a few weeks in the greater Fort Walton Beach area.  Pirate Captain Billy Bowlegs and his Queen arrive personally to hand out awards at all events.  If you wanna dress like a pirate too, go for it!  This time of year dressing like a pirate is not all that unusual.

Please give me a shout in the next week or so so we can plan accordingly.

Thank you
