Visiting Vipers will all launch from the Boston YC this year - We'll have logistics details available as we get closer to the event.

There are a few hotel rooms available at the BYC - let me know if you are interested in making a reservation.

Sign up today if you know you're coming!

In 2022 the BYC Viper Oyster Reef was established. (IYKYK)

In 2023, The Viper was the largest fleet at Marblehead race week with 23 boats.  For an illogical reason the event awarded the Rhodes 19 the Norm Cressy Award (Most Competitive fleet) Reasons as to why this happened aren't worth posting as to perpetuate internet conspiracy theories.

In 2024, The Lightning class is hosting their ACCs.  The lightning doesn't even show up to an event if they don't have 35+ Boats.  There is a total of ONE local lightning, which means the rest are traveling as visitors.   The Viper class in Marblehead has demonstrated it can attract enough visitors to outpace the local fleets.  Now it is up to the class to outpace other visiting fleets, which not ironically has a number of Viper owners that sail in it.

P.S. There will be Oysters.
