2013 Gulf Coast Championships

The 2013 Viper 640 Gulf Coast Championships will be held in conjunction with the Wadewitz Regatta, Fairhope Yacht Club (AL), September 28-29, 2013.

Currently the Wadewitz Regatta NOR is not posted, so we will get that out ASAP. 

Fairhope Yacht Club is located on the Eastern shore of Mobile Bay, Alabama.  Just a ten minute drive off Interstate 10.  The venue has ramp and hoist launching facilities.  Currently we are working with short term storage possibilities for those Vipers that may wish to hit the regatta on their way towards Texas for the Nationals just 9 days later in Houston.

The boys at Rondar have provided a beautiful perpetual trophy that the winner will be able to keep until the following year's Gulf Coast Championships.  Gulf Pool Services, Inc. will provide awards for the Gulf Coast Championship, 1st-4th, Farthest Travelled, and Youngest Crew (must be under 18).

The Wadewitz Regatta is also the last stop of the 2013 GYA Area Viper Circuit.  Awards will be handed out for the 2013 GYA Area Circuit at the conclusion of the Regatta as well.  And of course there will be Wadewitz awards as well.  So lots of hardware to be had......
