Are Vipers still being built in the US?

Sadly, they aren't anymore.  I really liked having them built right in my backyard a few years ago--in fact, it was a reason I bought my boat..

That said, I'm pretty sure Vipers could easily be built in the US again.

Whitecap Composites, in Peabody, still has the Viper molds, but more importantly, they have the knowhow to build more.  The boats built in the US facility are top notch--even with the rest of the fleet, but with all of the luxuries of a new boat.  I think the US built boats are hull numbers 190ish to 213.  I would love to see those guys build more boats in the future, as I see Ben and Paul Z at almost every Viper event I go to, and they're the ones that do work on my boat..

The recent boats I've personally seen from Rondar UK (I've seen alot of 222's stern lately) look really great as well--from what I hear they've been fine at keeping up with the demand for new boats in the US.  I've heard rumors of a big shipment coming over this fall for a bunch of east coasters..
