Boats missing are:
16, 27, 32, 35, 48, 59, 88, 89, 120, 135, 136, 137, 139, 140, 141, 142, 149, 164, 169, 171
I think 175 should be 170 instead. 176 and 177 will be in Larchmont, NY. Also, 150 is now Houston, TX.
What determines the coordinates for the boats? Looks like a lot of the Marblehead area boats are misplaced. #52 is in Hingham, 10-20 miles away from either my place or the boatyard.
153 is in Houston, but is currently for sale.
Brad
#134
#27 just came up for sale in Missouri
The boat locations come from either recent results ( HPDO, NAs LBRW etc.) or class membership. It is easy to make changes and I'm happy to move any that need to be moved just let me know.
If they are slightly off it could just be that I didn't zoom in enough when I put the pin on the map. The pins are put in by clicking on the location not typing in the place name. The other option is you can move the boat 10 miles :)
124 has moved to Southold, NY. 45 has moved to Tarrytown, NY. 95 we can call Greenwich, CT.
Kelly can you please move my location back to Ocean City, NJ. Thats were I sail out of in the summer and I would love to get vipers down that way. Thanks
167 and 170 are in the Newport fleet.
I think that should show all the changes now. We're getting pretty close to having a location on all of the boats.
I think 162 is sailing out of Raritian Yacht Club in Perth Amboy NJ

Mostly Larchmont.
Being really greedy, any chance of listing the owner and phone numbers? I'm in St. Mike's and just saw from the map that there is one in my town. Now all I need to do is track it down and get a ride!!
Sorry, I don't have that info for most of the boats and I wouldn't want to post without owners permission. The class exec might be able to put you in touch. Which location are you looking at?
Well, the one I'm stalking is listed as being in St. Michaels, MD. Probably sailing out of the Miles River Yacht Club given the pin placement.
Hello Craig,
Ping Dan Tucker,
[email protected] and he will arrange for you to go for a ride + make intro to local owner.
Cheers
Justin
Thanks Justin, email sent.

You going to bring 101 down to Miami?
101 was sold. Previous location was just north of Houston.

Hey! Alright! Finally another viper nearby! Sanford is only an hour away!
Are you the buyer or the seller?
I am neither. I just know where the boat (#101) was before it was sold.

#134 Catapult
I bought 101 on Sunday and trailered from Texas to Florida.
Welcome to the class! Have you sailed a viper before? I have #76 here in Melbourne, FL.
I am working out logistics for Miami with my crew now.
I have not sailed a Viper before. I plan to rig the boat this weekend and sail it for the first time this weekend.
I've been lurking on this site for a few weeks and am impressed with all of the information here. I pay particular attention to the newbie questions and responses.
My crew and I are looking forward to learning the boat.
Well, if you have any questions let me know. We have a rum race this Sunday at the Melbourne yacht club if your interested.
The Sunday race in Melbourne is probably a little soon for us. We're going to take it out for the first time Sunday at a local lake.
Thanks for all of the offers of help.
We have a Disney fleet!
My son says its okay for Dad to go sailing in Orlando. Sigh.

Here's another - come to Pensacola Feb 4th and sail against Craig and Debra. They will give you tons of tuning help, and Brian Bennett will be there as well if you want to meet the designer. Of course, I can see how it would be darn near impossible to talk you into driving that far north in February. It's must easier for me, as I'll be heading south...
Thanks for the offer, but Pensacola is over seven hours from where I am.
We're looking forward to sailing the boat every weekend on a local lake until the Valentine's regatta in Miami Feb.11 and 12.

Damn that's a big state, and you're not even very far South compared to Miami.
True. I'm over four hours from coconut grove.
Hull #41 has been purchased and moved to Owensboro, Ky. Would love to contact the two Vipers in St.Louis
Congrats on the Viper acquisition! Looking forward to seeing Viper 41 at some regattas in the near future. Any chance of getting you to Marblehead in September for NAs? If not there, hopefully in Florida this winter.
Jeff - Congrats on the new acquisition to your 'fleet'.
It was great meeting you in Sarnia. I guess you'll have to race Viper instead of S2 next year eh?
Cheers!
Darren
I doubt you would want me at the nationals this year. We would just get in the way. We are looking forward to racing this winter. We had a great time in Sarnia. It will be a tough decision which boat to race next year. Maybe we will bring both. I do wish I had spent more time watching the rigging process. It had been a year since the previous owner had sailed the boat so I did not get a lot of info from him. I am some what confused on the proper rigging of the split tail mainsheet, mainsheet bridal, gnav, and out haul.
Jeff,
Don"t forget that for 90% of us that are trying to attend to NA's, it's more about fun, hanging out with the Viper family, seeing friends that you only get to see once a year, and maybe do a little sailboat racing. I think of it more of a "Viper Jubilee" instead of a National Champs... Nobody should worry about "getting in the way"... unless you're talking about being a slow pour at the keg!

Jeff, don't cut yourself short.
My story: After only two rides on Vipers (in Marblehead), I flew to Miami, bought my boat in Stewart three days before the 2010 N/A's in Coconut Grove, did the keel bulb at Shake-a-leg, splashed her, met everyone, and managed to not finish in last place. Come on up!
Jeff: it's also a great excuse to see 50+ (hopefully 60+) Vipers in person and figure out the answer to your rigging questions, see a couple of alternative rigging options, take some pictures and make some notes for your next Viper event. I suspect free housing would also be available for Kentucky Viperers in Marblehead without any difficulty.

Absolutely right. It's going to be fun for all! To that point, we've got way more swag planned for the 90% than we do for the top 5 finishers.
About 40% of the Vipers in existence will be there, you don't want to miss it!
I moved a bunch of boats. Please let me know if any others need to be moved.
Kelly, you are awesome!!!
Thanks for all the work
73 is in Bermuda now.
