Title: Viper #157, Palm Beach, FL
Post by: Paul Gingras on October 15, 2012, 01:24:51 PM
I just arrived back in Palm Beach for the winter and noticed Viper #157 parked at a home on the island. I have never sailed a Viper but actively race a Melges 24 and a Megabyte and I would very much like to offer my sevices in the South Florida area to the owner of #157 should he need a crew. We can launch at the Palm Beach Saling Club and be in the ocean in 15-20 minutes. Can anyone help me locate the owner? Paul Gingras, 561-845-8686.

Jeff Lee's boat (105?) is down in that general vicinity as well.

I have prospects in Tampa & Sarasota. Can I hook them up with one of you?

Paul, I sailed out of Palm Beach Sailing Club for a few seasons. It was my escape from the PB Polo Club in Wellington. Great location. I thrashed around in a laser in the weekend races and bought my Viper down once and sailed out to the ocean thru the cut.
It would be a fun place to practice in the Viper...but I think for the extra drive...its heading down to Miami and joining some of the Viper races in Jan -March.
