Can someone tell me the length + diameter of the tack line?  Thanks

In the process of replacing mine, Just ordered 18 ft of 5mm line.  I estimated the length needed to be 210" from forward end of the mast step to the fully extended pole with some swag thrown in for knots and sufficient tail to tie on the spin.  Then I rounded up to 18 ft.  I do anticipate trimming it down a bit, but line's cheap.

Thanks Reid.  When my wife took the car this morning (with the old tack line in it), she asked me: Do you need anything in the car?  I answer no, then two hours later remember I was going to use it to buy a new line but the car is still gone.  With your help and a different car, mission accomplished.

I use a piece of $2 scrap from APS with a few knots in the end depending on the driver. The APS boys hacked the spectra one during a wicked broach.
