Around the end of 2012, I sold my half of Viper 640 #42 to my co-owner, Mark Engelhardt. I spent a few months thinking about what to do next, while putting in all sorts of work to form a sportboat fleet at Lake Champlain Yacht Club. After an impromptu visit to the Peabody shop, and chatting with Ben and Zim and Dan, I was put in touch with Dave Nickerson. Today I went down and looked at #18, saw how well-loved it was, and we made a deal! After they go kick some ass with it in Charleston, #18 will head north to its new home in Vermont, while the next 3 Grins starts gestating in Peabody!

Thanks Dave and Moise! Thanks Ben and Zim! Thanks Dan!

It is good to be back! We now have three Vipers on the lake.

Cheers,

jason

Nice! You're lucky to have 3...

BTW, your picture with the crew falling overboard when the hiking strap came loose almost got replicated out here the other week.

I checked those knots, I swear...

I'm still waiting for that photo to end up in Dr. Crash, but it might not be disastrous enough. :)
