Title: lifting the boat w/o the bridle
Post by: Gary Annino on February 02, 2019, 06:27:54 PM
all

winter fun.  I lifted the boat in a barn.  I used three points, two aft with a sling under the boat and one off the bow.  However, as I did this the chainplates were very tempting....seemed like the balance point.

Cringing  as I type this....can you safely lift a viper from the chainplates?

I'll add - can it be safely done without the keel (eliminates  approx 1/3 of the weight)?

Thoughts?
