Get Ready to Vote

The electronic vote on class rule amendments will commence on December 2nd and close on December 31st.

We have incorporated some great feedback from members.  The Technical Committee have been through the amendments with a fine tooth comb and through a series of edits the amendments have been honed to achieve what Tyler (TC Chair) describes as:
1. Easy to Understand
2. Easy to Enforce
3. Keep Costs under control
and of course reflect the priorities of the members and all the good things that keep us sailing in the Class

The amendments have been posted on the Class Members section of this forum. If you are a member and have not been there in a while, please take a moment to have a look. You should also have received an email from the class 2 weeks ago with the draft proposals. I am pleased to say that 209 owner members read the email describing the amendments and 171 owner members clicked on the links to read the proposals themselves.

We are close to closing the commentary period so that Buttons has time to set up the vote and giive the TC a couple of nights off. But we need your support and we genuinely want the class rules to reflect the membership so if you have any last minute questions, concerns or suggestions please let us know either by email or posting on the thread in the members section. We are close to midnight and turning back into pumpkins but even if it is too late to incorporate  a major new idea , we can always start work on an amendment for 2022.

Once the vote starts, we want as many members to vote as possible. It is not just about achieving a quorum.....it is also about a class run by members on behalf of the members.
