Title: Flipping a Viper?
Post by: Darren Gilbert on June 16, 2011, 08:47:30 AM
Hi Guys,

I've got to start doing some work to the bottom of my boat and want to flip it over to make the work easier.

The boat is currently sitting on it's trailer in my driveway, with no keel.

Has anyone ever attempted to flip a hull over using just a few buddies?  I certainely don't want to damage anything (this was so much easier with my laser).

Any suggestions?

No sweat

Wait until your wife leaves - drag the mattress out of you bedroom and guest room.  Pull it off the trailer, lay it on one and flip it over onto the other.

Get the mattress back in proper order before she get's home.

Can probably be done with three fella's.   I used some big blocks of reticulated foam.

Are you attempting to flip it on the trailer or onto the ground?

I want it to lay upside down on some old tires in my driveway while I work on the bottom and the trailer gets some work done to it.
