I'm looking for someone who can't make one of the winter series events to charter their boat to me, my dad and my brother. Would prefer the February event but not too picky.
I've been racing competitively since I was a kid, sailed in college, crewed on a Viper and drove a 505 in the Hampton VA fleet when I lived in that area after college, and now crew on a 26ft sportboat in Annapolis. My dad was a serious semi-pro boat bum on the gulf coast for like 20 years, worked at the North Sails loft in New Orleans. My brother... knows how to sail.
I don't get to see the old man a lot, so looking to take a little trip, soak up some Florida sunshine and spend some serious quality time together. Not looking to break anything or take any trophies. Ready to pay a fair rate, use the practice sails, and be liable for any damages.
