Vipers invited to the National Capital Regatta, Aug 8-9, Ottawa Ontario

Britannia Yacht Club will run the National Capital Regatta on August 8, 9.

Vipers have been invited to sail at this event and although this is not an official event on the Great Lakes Regional calendar, it would be great if we can get our local boats out and hopefully a few from Kingston/Montreal to make up a fleet. If we get 5 boats registered, we get a start on our own. Even if we are only 3 we can still race on Portsmouth handicap with others if necessary.

I would like to do this regatta - who else can make it?

For visitors from out of town:
Note there is FREE camping on the BYC site (which is very pleasant) and a great BBQ on the Saturday night.
Lots of space park and rig. There is a crane to launch.
