A few events coming up for people who want to travel in:

- Sept. 7: Leukemia Cup at Larchmont YC.  http://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=831 Should get a strong local turnout of Larchmont boats at minimum, racing only one day, but possibly a good stepping stone for...

- Sept. 21-22: Stamford YC Viper Open.  Expecting at least 10 Vipers on the line for this one, great time of year to race in WLIS and always fantastic hospitality at SYC.  http://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=892

- Oct. 12-13: HPDO at American YC.  Always a class favorite.  This year it conflicts with North Americans in Houston, but I suspect there will still be more than a respectable turnout of northeast Vipers for those who can't take the time to go all the way to Texas.  Late fee kicks in Aug. 31.  http://www.yachtscoring.com/emenu.cfm?eID=895

Now up to 11 Vipers for Stamford Sept. 21-22, and if you want to leave your boat at SYC in between Stamford and the HPDO, you can do so.  Still likely to get another 2-3 local boats to sign up for this one, travelers welcome.
