A great regatta that usually attracts a lot of boats.

How about making this the next West Coast Viper OD start?

Finny, can we get an invite from the club???

A good question to ask...  of Race Management Committee.

David Morse

I'll ask.  Thanks Finnster

And......

If we get invited, another class may not, we need to make a respectable showing.... 6+ boats...at least

If our numbers are weak, we will have difficulty carving a viper nitch into a standard Turkyday schedule.

If we can make it a regular event and the AZ boys join us, it might be a nice regatta to wrap up the "Tour de Cali" at...

How about AZ?  Interested?????

I'm up for it...possibly. Gotta check with the crew.

What's the breeze like? I hate driving 800 miles for a shutout.

That's the one caveat about Turkey Day, Huge turnout but the wind could be anything, if it's post-frontal, it will blow.  If the Santa Ana's are up, we are sailing in a convergence zone and the wind could be light.

November is usually the lightest ave windspeed, 8-14 vs. the 15-20 in summer
