I was curios if anyone had a mast cover that can be put up when the skiff is in its dolly or trailer.  I'm sure that any sail shop would gladly make a custom mast cover, but I wasn't sure if it would be a bad idea.  I am concerned that with such a light craft the boat could blow over do to the mast covers windage.  Any thoughts?

I have been mentally designing one of these but have yet to actually make any progress... would love to see if anyone has done this yet.  Would be great to get that mast covered...

It would be very difficult to use a mast cover for when the boat is rigged. In fact it would be a real pain to deal with. It is also really not needed. The mast has final clear coat on it with UV inhibitors. Every 4 years or so this should be sanded down and repainted. As #144, you have a while before you have to worry about this.

Should #54 consider his first repaint?

#54 should consider a Windex replacement.  ;-)

Yes, also early masts didn't come with a very effective coating if any at all so time to upgrade to shiny UV inhibiting clear coat. I know my mast is definitely overdue.
Zach did his last year, adding a green hue, which looks really cool.
