Title: Recycle your Viper Sails
Post by: Ed "Buttons" Padin, Class Administrator on June 27, 2016, 12:01:57 PM
If you have serviceable sails you're no longer using, rather than turn them into painting drop cloths, recycle them to other Viper sailors looking for practice or back-up sails.

Post here if you have sails to sell or are looking for some. People can then contact you through the Forum and you can make whatever deal is appropriate.

I have an old (2009?) Hyde spinnaker (white) that would do for practice.

Seems like the retrieval patches are not exactly centered so when you douse it about 1 ft of the corners remain out of the retrieval tube. The sail itself is in good shape.

$175 plus shipping

I have a Doyle chute that is a 2013  and only has 6 or less days on it. It came with my first boat and I ended up buying a new set of sails and then never used it. It has been sitting in air con storage since I got it. Happy to sell it to someone for $400. Send me an email, [email protected]
