If you are going to Miami or New Orleans and also planning to do Charleston Race Week, we have a deal for you - a weekend of sailing on Lake Murray, and then FREE STORAGE until Charleston Race Week.

Copied below is the NOR for Columbia Sailing Club's Tommy Whiteside Regatta on Lake Murray, South Carolina. This is being hosted by our old friend Alex Bolan and the Carolinas U20 fleets.  The dates are March 18-20th, 2011.  This is a great regatta to get your boats down to the south for some early spring sailing, with free storage available until Charleston Race Week in April. Columbia is only 1 1/2 hours away from Charleston and CSC.

Online Registration is active at: https://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registration_form.php?regatta_id=3461

JH:

Since #153 (4 in Houston container) won't be in in time for this gig, any leads you can give me on a ride are muchly appreciated.  John Hackl a/k/a #153. 281-222-9844.

The nearby Southeast is seriously hurting for boats these days, so I don't know of anything I could offer.  You might want to ask Jeff Jones if there are any spare TX boats around.

BTW, right now I've heard from just three boats committed to Whiteside, and for some reason RegattaNetwork isn't showing who has registered (http://www.regattanetwork.com/clubmgmt/applet_registrant_list.php?regatta_id=3461&custom_report_id=55).  Anyone who is planning to come should post here to that effect so we have an idea where we stand.

Copy that...Full court press on Rondar to ensure no delays for the four making landfall in the next several weeks. Looks like we have an ETA of 4/2.  Tight for CRW...

Sadly, we're now down to just one or two boats interested in this regatta.  Right now, assuming nothing changes, we aren't going to have a Viper OD fleet at Whiteside.  Maybe next year.....

It's no problem.  Both Guggs and I had conflicts pop up too - at least none of us have to feel guilty about letting each other down!
