Hampton YC Spring Regatta April 21/22

All 8 local Hampton Vipers have committed to race this event.  We have John McCarty and his "A" team race committee running the races.  Although this is a multi-class regatta, John will have a separate finish line and keep the classes rolling as they finish.  The weekend is one week after Charleston and two weeks before the Annapolis NOOD event which is then followed two weeks later by the ACCs. Hello Vipers,

Spring will soon be springing...and Vipers will be racing here at HYC. It's been a long winter (except for you lucky ones who enjoyed the Sarasota Winter Series) and I for one am ready to get back out on the water.

Last October we had a great Viper Day and everyone said, "Let's do this again"...and so we will. However, this time we'll do it for two days instead of one at the HYC Spring Regatta on Sat-Sun, April 21-22. The NOR is posted for your perusal at the link shown below.

The regatta will include exactly what you all enjoy:
       - Multiple windward/leeward races each day
       - Great courses with offset marks and gates
       - "Opposite" start/finish lines to reduce wait time between races
       - Our HYC "A Team" RC and mark boats to keep things square and moving
       - Hot dogs and beer Saturday: Awards and a keg Sunday...all in the Viper Pit
       - Visiting boats can take advantage of:
                  - Free launch and haul
                  - Free storage of boats and trailers before, during, and after the event
                (including boats waiting for the Annapolis NOODS and/or Atlantic Coasts)
       - Low entry fee of $35 for Early Birds (before April 17) or $45 for slow pokes
