YRALIS Champs Aug. 6-7 (Connecticut, Viper start)

There are 9 Vipers signed up already for the YRALIS Champs Aug. 6-7 at Indian Harbor YC (Greenwich, CT), with the possibility of getting another 2-3 local boats out at minimum.  Forecast calls for real southerly both days (7-11 kts with minimal delays hopefully).  Boats from outside the Western Long Island Sound area are welcome to participate.

Thanks Peter for the push.  We'd love to see a couple more boats participate in this. The Vipers have won the battle of the 20 sporties in our area so it's time to go after the hearts and minds of everyone else -- the guys and galls sailing all those more traditional boats who'd be keen to step up to a Viper but want to make sure the Viper is not some flash in the pan. To get them we need turnout. So for the good of the class and your investment, please consider coming. And who knows... it might just be fun in and of itself!

And as a special inducement, the Viper competition will also be the Area A and Area B US Sailing Men's Championship semi-final. So get your entries in.
